Andrea Laghi is Professor of Radiology at Humanitas University, Director of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging at IRCCS Humanitas Research Hospital in Milan, Italy, since June 2025. He also serves as Director of the Residency Program in Radiology at Humanitas University. Professor Laghi is Past President and Gold Medal recipient of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) and Past President of the European Society of Oncologic Imaging (ESOI). From 2019 to 2025, he was a member of the Superior Health Council of the Italian Ministry of Health. He is the author of over 400 peer-reviewed publications (H-index 61, Scopus), with research interests focused on abdominal and oncologic imaging, contrast media in radiology, and artificial intelligence in diagnostic imaging, supported by numerous European and national research grants.
