Edoardo is a Professor of Law and Artificial Intelligence at the University of Milan Bicocca and Founding Member of AIRIA. He is also Of Counsel at LCA Law Firm. In October 2023, by decree of the Prime Minister, he was appointed by the Italian government as one of thirteen members of the Coordination Committee for National Strategies on Artificial Intelligence, supporting the Undersecretary for Technological Innovation and Digitalisation. Since March 2021 (until October 2023), he has been Legal Advisor to the Italian Data Protection Authority. He has been a Fellow at the Centre for Research in Public Law and Policy at the Berkeley School of Law, University of California, and Senior Advisor to the Artificial Intelligence Observatory at the Politecnico of Milan.
